Mission Rehoboth Internationale Source de Vie - la Mission - historique
God writes straight on crooked lines. He leads us where He wills through winding paths.

The The Mission Rehoboth Internationale / Source de Vie traces its origin to an open vision received during the night of Tuesday, January 9 to Wednesday, January 10, 2007, between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. During this vision, Pastor Pingwindé Mathieu Baga, then a student in Canada, saw in spirit an immense field to "clear." As he observed and considered the vastness of the land, he heard a distinct voice speaking first to three people, then directly to him. The voice said: “The work of this field is difficult and will require sacrifices and sweat. There are also dangers and a serious battle to fight...” In this first part of the vision, the speaker described the characteristics of the field, the work to be done, the dangers, and the steps to take to succeed in the mission to which they were being invited. The clearing work involved, among other things, carrying out a mission similar to that given by God to the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:9-10): removing trees, stumps, bushes, thorns, and clearing stones and other obstacles to prepare the land for agricultural use. The cleared land had to be worked thoroughly to achieve acceptable results.

In the second phase of the vision, a question was asked three times to the servant of God: “Are you ready to pay the price?” He responded: “I am ready to pay the price for the salvation of souls.” The voice told him it was a pioneering work, a new mission that was to begin in its time. The mission order given to him comes from Jeremiah 1:10: “See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
Subsequently, at least five people from different continents and cultures declared that they had received from God that He was calling Mathieu Baga into God’s service as a Missionary, thus confirming what the Lord had revealed to him.

According to the vision and its interpretation, Mathieu Baga understood that the Lord was commissioning him into a new spiritual field. In agreement with his wife, Lydie Baga, they sought the face of God through prayer and fasting to ensure they were not working in vain and that they were heading in the right direction. In 2008, God clarified certain aspects of the vision, allowing them to begin the missionary work that was named “The Mission Rehoboth Internationale / Source de Vie”.
This spiritual movement, born in the heart of God and revealed under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through a vision and successive revelations, officially began in Sherbrooke, Canada, on October 5, 2008. The Mission Rehoboth Internationale / Source de Vie is registered as a religious corporation and is regularly recorded as a nonprofit organization in the Quebec business registry (Canada). Its headquarters are established in Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada) at 306 12e Avenue Sud, J1G 2V6.
